Creative Nonfiction Cover Competition

The quarterly magazine Creative Nonfiction is seeking an Australia-based

artist to illustrate our upcoming fall 2012 issue, Creative Nonfiction #46.

Medium: line drawings, collage, watercolors, etc. — and welcome all styles of interpretation well suited to a print format.

The chosen artist will work closely with our editorial and design staff to create 8 to 10 original designs that will be featured on the cover and interior of the magazine.

Creative Nonfiction has an international circulation of 7,000, so this is a great opportunity for an Australian artist (student or professional) to have their work seen by a large audience. The chosen artist will also be profiled for at least three months on CNF’s website, which attracts nearly 13,000 visitors per month, and this issue will be launched at the 2012 Melbourne Writers Festival.

Interested artists should upload a resume and three low-resolution jpeg samples of their best work no later than 11:59 PM (GMT) on March 16, 2012. A link to an electronic portfolio is also preferred.
