Google Art Project has come to Australia
It's very exciting! Australian galleries and museum have joined hundreds of other museums and galleries around the world to be part of the Google Art Project. An online gallery where you can walk around galleries and look at artwork, from all around the world, without leave the comfort of your home. The art work has been taken with high resolution cameras so you can zoom in see all the details. I recommend everyone to go have a look and make yourself your own privet gallery of artworks.
So what has this to do with Melbourne? NGV and Museum Victoria has taken part.
