Stanislava Pinchuk (Miso): Surface To Air

She has done it again, Stanislava Pinchuk (Miso) new sellout exhibition 'Surface To Air' at Karen Woodbury Gallery (Level 1/167 Flinders Lane, Melbourne) is just beautiful. The very stunningly subtle pin holes on paper have a very poignant message.

"Surface To Air is a mapping of the Ukrainian civil war across landscape topographies & sonic scores. While a nod to the S.T.A missiles used in the conflict, the title also hints at the experience of war from a private perspective, coming up for air in resilience."

Go and see the show as it is even better in person. Enjoy the images…

Colour, Light & Silence: Anselm van Rood

Yesterday I visited Stephen Mclaughlan Gallery (Level 8, Room 8, Nicholas Building, 37 Swanston Street, Melbourne) to see Anselm van Rood's show Colour, Light & Silence (29 April- 16 May 2015). It is really refreshing to see some beautiful paintings, some from the artist*s studio, some portraits and some landscapes. Here are some photos from this wonderful show. Enjoy.
